HOW MUCH DOES IN-TOWN DELIVERY COST?

A delivery minimum of $1500  is required to be met in order for delivery to be considered for our rental items. Deliveries designated under our in-town category are applicable if the location/venue is within a 25 mile radius of the Tailored and Tied warehouse located in Manhattan MT. Delivery fees start at $75 for in-town delivery. Additional fees will be added depending on delivery logistics *see below for details regarding additional delivery fees.

IN-TOWN DELIVERY INCLUDES:

  • TIME AND LABOR INVOLVED IN PULLING, PREPARING AND PACKING THE TRUCK PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS TRAVELING TO THE VENUE.
  • UNLOADING ITEMS OFF THE TRUCK AT THE DESTINATION.
  • SETTING UP ITEMS IN THE DESIGNATED AREAS.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS TRAVELING BACK TO THEWAREHOUSE.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS RETURNING TO THE VENUE TO PICK-UP AND PACK ITEMS BACK IN THE TRUCK AT THE END OF THE EVENT.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS TRAVELING BACK TO THE WAREHOUSE.
  • TIME AND LABOR TO UNLOAD TRUCK, CLEAN THE ITEMS AND PLACE ITEMS BACK ON OUR SHELVES. 
  • USE OF OUR COMPANY TRUCK OR RENTAL VEHICLE.
  • ALL MOVING SUPPLIES NECESSARY.

HOW MUCH DOES OUT-OF-TOWN DELIVERY COST?

Out- of- town: A delivery minimum of $2500 is required to be met in order for delivery to be considered for rental items. Deliveries designated under our out of town rate are applicable if the location/venue is outside the 25 mile radius of the Tailored and Tied showroom located in Manhattan MT. Delivery fees start at $150 for out-of-town delivery. Additional fees will be added depending on delivery logistics *see below for details regarding additional delivery fees. 

THE OUT-OF-TOWN FEE INCLUDES:

  • TIME AND LABOR INVOLVED IN PULLING AND PACKING THE TRUCK PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS TRAVELING TO THE VENUE.
  • UNLOADING ITEMS AT VENUE AND SETTING UP INAPPROPRIATE LOCATIONS THROUGH DIRECTION OF THE EVENT PLANNER.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS TRAVELING TO HOTEL.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS RETURNING TO VENUE TOPICK-UP ITEMS AT THE END OF THE EVENT.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS TRAVELING BACK TO HOTEL.
  • TIME, MILEAGE AND GAS TRAVELING BACK TO WAREHOUSE.
  • TIME AND LABOR TO UNLOAD TRUCK AND PLACE ITEMS BACK TO WHERE THEY BELONG.
  • USE OF COMPANY TRUCK OR RENTAL VEHICLE.

COULD THERE BE ADDITIONAL DELIVER FEE?

YES, PLEASE NOTE VARIOUS CONTIDTIONS THAT COULD EFFECT delivery fees: 

  • Holiday weekend rates- which we charge crew time at a time and a half rate.
  • Winter rates- which includes the additional time and precautions it takes to deliver/pick-up due to winter road conditions.
  • Venue access fee- this includes any additional charges for wear and tear on our delivery trucks that pertain to hills, dirt roads, bridges. Additionally the venue access fee includes a long walking distance from truck to venue, stairs, elevators, wet/ irrigated lawns, etc. 
  • Lodging fees which will be charged at $175 per crew member if the event venue is located outside a x mile radius of the Tailored and Tied showroom, or if there is a same day set/strike. This fee will include lodging and a food stipend per crew member.

*Disclaimer: additional fees charged at an hourly rate will be warranted if our team is not given a heads up about any of the above pertaining to delivery logistics.

CAN I PICK UP MY ITEMS MYSELF?

FOR NON-BREAKABLES AND SMALLER ITEMS, WE INVITE YOU TO PICK-UP AND RETURN THE ITEMS YOURSELF. FOR LARGER PIECES AND MORE FRAGILE ITEMS, WE WANT TO ENSURE THEY GET TO YOU IN ONE PIECE AND THOSE WILL REQUIRE OUR DELIVERY SERVICE.  

ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP IN A COVERED VEHICLE AND THE CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPER SUPPLIES (TIE-DOWNS AND BLANKETS) TO ENSURE SAFE TRANSPORT OF OUR ITEMS. PICK UP TIMES ARE AVAILABLE DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. ANY ORDERS PICKED UP OR RETURNED OUTSIDE OF OUR NORMAL HOURS WILL BE SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $50. ONCE ITEMS LEAVE OUR WAREHOUSE, THE CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE OF OUR ITEMS. ANY DAMAGES OR LOSS INCURRED DURING TRANSPORT OR ON-SITE AT EVENT WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT.

IS SET UP OF RENTALS INCLUDED IN THE DELIVERY COST?

ALL ITEMS ARE SET IN GENERAL AREAS ACCORDING TO A FLOOR PLAN OR DIRECTION GIVEN ON-SITE. PLEASE NOTE THAT ITEMS AND CHAIR PLACEMENT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE DELIVERY BUT CAN BE ADDED ON UPON RESERVING YOUR ITEMS. BOXED SMALLER ITEMS ARE ALSO SAFELY DELIVERED AND PLACED IN GENERAL LOCATIONS FOR ON-SITE CONTACT PERSON TO UNPACK AND PLACE. ALL STRUCTURES, PLATFORMS AND CUSTOMS INSTALLATIONS WILL BE ASSEMBLED AND PLACED BY OUR CREW IN PRE DETERMINED LOCATIONS AND INDICATED STAGING POSITIONS.

** OUR DELIVERY CREWS ARE NOT FOCUSED ON AESTHETICS LIKE OUR STYLISTS ARE AND THEREFORE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR STYLING ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS OR MAKING LAYOUT ADJUSTMENTS.

DO YOU OFFER STYLING AND FULL SET UP?

WE SURE DO! STYLING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE ALONG SIDE THE DELIVERY OF OUR RENTALS AT $50/ STYLIST/ HOUR. THIS SERVICE MUST BE RESERVED SEPARATELY IF THE CLIENT WISHES TO INCLUDE STYLING OF SMALL ITEMS AND ANY DECOR. PLEASE NOTE, STYLING AND SET UP IS ONLY FOR T&T RENTALS. ANYSET-UP OF THE VENUE, ANOTHER COMPANIES ITEMS, OR THE CLIENT’S OWN PROPERTY IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS SERVICE.

WHAT IS THE RENTAL PROCESS?

THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO BEGIN THE RENTAL PROCESS. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO LOOK THROUGH OUR ONLINE INVENTORY AND CREATE A WISHLIST OF ALL THE ITEMS YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN AND SUBMIT AN ESTIMATE.YOU MAY ALSO USE THE CONTACT US FORM TO INITIATE A QUOTE.  

ONCE ALL THE ITEMS HAVE BEEN SELECTED AND CUSTOM WORK IS IDENTIFIED, WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A QUOTE FOR ALL THE ITEMS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AND A QUOTE FOR DELIVERY. 

HOW DO I RESERVE MY RENTALS?

THE QUOTE PROVIDED FOR YOUR ORDER IS VALID FOR 2 WEEKS, HOWEVER A PROPOSAL DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY OF ANY ITEMS. IF YOU CHOOSE TO MOVE FORWARD WITHIN THAT TIME, YOU MUST CONFIRM YOUR ORDER WITH A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT AND A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF  50%. PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE BY CASH, CHECK, OR CREDIT.

CARD. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS FOR ORDERS OVER$1000 WILL INCUR A CREDIT CARD FEE OF 3%.

WHEN DO I PAY MY REMAINING BALANCE?

THE REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE DUE 10 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED DELIVERY OR PICK-UP DATE.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER AFTER SIGNING THE CONTRACT?

YOU HAVE UP TO 10 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT DATE TO MAKE ANY RENTAL CHANGES YOU NEED. SINCE THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE, ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE ORDER IN THAT TIME MUST BE EQUAL OR GREATER THAN THE DEPOSIT AMOUNT. ONCE INSIDE THE 10 DAYS, ANY CHANGES TO THE ORDER MUST BE EQUAL OR GREATER THAN THE FULL BALANCE OF THE ORDER. CHANGE ORDERS ARE NOT PERMISSIBLE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE EVENT DATE.

IF YOU NEED TO ALTER ANY CUSTOM PIECES, CUSTOM RENTALS, OR CUSTOMIZABLE ITEMS, ADDITIONAL CHARGES MAY INCUR DEPENDING ON THE PROGRESS OF THE CUSTOM WORK, THE EXTENT OF THE CHANGES AND THE URGENCY OF THE CHANGES.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR RENTAL ORDERS UP TO 10 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT, HOWEVER ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. IF A RENTAL ORDER IS CANCELED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF YOUR EVENT, THE FULL ORDER AMOUNT IS RETAINED.  ALL CUSTOM PIECES, CUSTOM RENTALS AND CUSTOMIZABLE ITEMS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION AND MUST BE PAID IN FULL. 

WHAT ABOUT DAMAGES AND REPAIRS?

IF THE DAMAGE IS FIXABLE WITHIN THE NORMAL MAINTENANCE OF OUR INVENTORY, WE’LL SIMPLY FIX IT AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. IF THE DAMAGE REQUIRES ADDITIONAL MATERIALS AND LABOR, OUR CLIENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR COSTS. IF THE DAMAGE IS BEYOND REPAIR, OUR CLIENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT COST.  REPLACEMENT COST FOR VARIOUS ITEMS CAN BE 3-5 TIMES THE RENTAL RATE OR THE ACTUAL REPLACEMENT COST OF THE ITEM.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM?

FOR RENTALS THAT REQUIRE DELIVERY, THERE IS AN ORDER MINIMUM OF $2500. YOU MAY COMBINE A VARIETY OF CURRENT INVENTORY, CUSTOM PIECES, CUSTOM RENTALS AND CUSTOMIZABLE ITEMS TO REACH THIS MINIMUM. RENTAL ORDERS THAT DO NOT REACH THE $2500 MINIMUM CAN BE ACCEPTED, BUT FOR QUALIFIED PICK-UP ITEMS ONLY OR FOR CUSTOM ORDERS. PLEASE CONTACT US TO SEE IF ACCOMODATIONS CAN BE MADE.

DO YOU OFFER EVENT DESIGN?

IF YOU’D LIKE TO UTILIZE THE EXPERTISE OF OUR TEAM TO HELP WITH FURNITURE CURATION AND LAYOUT DESIGN, WE’RE HERE FOR YOU! A DESIGNER’S EXPERTISE WILL BE CHARGED AT A RATE OF $75/HR. WHEN QUOTING THE ORDER, WE WILL ESTIMATE THE TIME REQUIRED BASED ON THE NUMBER OF AREAS OR ROOMS THAT NEED TO BE DESIGNED AND FILLED.

CAN YOU MEET ME OR MY COORDINATOR FOR A SITE VISIT?

A $50/ HOUR DESIGN CONSULTATION FEE WILL APPLY IF A CLIENT REQUESTS A SITE VISIT WITH A MEMBER OF OUR TEAM. WE WILL RECOMMEND THE BEST LAYOUT PLAN FOR THE EVENT WHILE OFFERING DESIGN ADVICE ON ACHIEVING THE CLIENT’S VISION. IF INSTALLATION OR CUSTOM FABRICATION IS RECOMMENDED OR REQUESTED, WE WILL COME UP WITH A PLAN TO BEST EXECUTE THE JOB.

FEE INCLUDES A ONE (1) HOUR SITE VISIT AT ANY VENUE WITHIN 40 MILES OF TAILORED AND TIED. ANY ADDITIONAL SITE VISITS REQUESTED WILL BE BILLED AT $50/HOUR PER STYLIST AND $25/HOUR PER CREW MEMBER.

DO YOU OFFER STYLING AND SET UP AT AN EVENT?

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ADDITIONAL SET UP AND STYLING OF OUR RENTAL ITEMS AT YOUR EVENT, A STYLIST CAN HELP YOU FOR$50/HOUR. IF ADDITIONAL TIME IS NEEDED MOVING ITEMS BY A CREW MEMBER, THAT IS AT A RATE OF $35/HOUR.

DO YOU OFFER HOME STAGING?

IF YOU’D LIKE “T&T” TO HELP STAGE A HOME, WE OFFER CUSTOM STAGING WITH ONE OF OUR STYLISTS AND USE OF OUR RENTALS. RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE AT A DAY RATE. OUR  HOME STAGING SERVICES ARE AT A RATE OF $50/HOUR PER STYLIST AND $35/ HOUR PER CREW MEMBER AND INCLUDES: 

  • ONSITE VISIT OF THE SPACE
  • DESIGN CONCEPT AND LAYOUT FROM ONE OF OUR STYLISTS
  • 1 DAY STAGING WITH STYLIST AND CREW MEMBERS, UP TO 6 HOURS
WE WOULD LOVE TO USE T&T’S RENTALS AT OUR NEXT SHOOT! WHAT IS THE PRICING AND PROCESS FOR THAT?

WE’D LOVE TO COLLABORATE WITH YOU ON YOUR NEXT STYLED SHOOT. DEPENDING ON THE ITEMS REQUESTED AND THE TIME OF YEAR, DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENTALS BEING USED FOR PHOTOSHOOTS THAT ARE MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL.  CUSTOM ITEMS AND CUSTOM FABRICATION IS ALSO AVAILABLE, AND PRICING WILL DEPEND ON THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT. DELIVERY/INSTALLATION IS REQUIRED FOR LARGE, BULKY ITEMS AND IS NOT DISCOUNTED.

WHAT ARE CUSTOM RENTALS AND WHAT DO THEY COST?

THINK: “I WANT TO CREATE SOMETHING SPECIAL THAT IS NOT IN THE CURRENT INVENTORY, BUT I ONLY WANT TO RENT IT.”

A CUSTOM RENTAL IS AN ITEM DESIGNED AND EXECUTED FOR YOU FROM SCRATCH TO BE RENTED FOR ONE TIME USE AND KEPT BY T&T AFTER THE EVENT. NOT ALL DESIGN CONCEPTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR CUSTOM RENTAL.  IF THE DESIGN CONCEPT IS IN LINE WITH OUR STYLE AND ELIGIBLE FOR RESTOCKING, WE WILL MAKE THE CUSTOM PIECE FOR YOU TO RENT, AND AFTER YOUR EVENT, THE ITEM WILL BE RETURNED AND ADDED TO OUR INVENTORY. 

WHAT DO CUSTOM RENTALS COST?

IF YOUR DESIGN CONCEPT FOR A CUSTOM RENTAL IS ELIGIBLE FOR RESTOCKING, AN INITIAL DESIGN FEE WILL BE APPLIED IN ADDITION TO THE ITEMS GENERAL RENTAL RATE.

EXAMPLES: NEW ARBOR DESIGN, BAR, CAKE/SWEETHEART TABLE ETC.

 

WHAT ARE CUSTOMIZABLE RENTALS AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

THINK: “I CAN ADD SOME PERSONALIZED FLARE TO AN ITEM ALREADY IN THE INVENTORY.”

CUSTOMIZABLE RENTALS ARE ALREADY MADE ITEMS WITHIN OUR CURRENT INVENTORY THAT ARE ELIGIBLE FOR CUSTOMIZING. CLIENTS HAVE THE CHOICE OF ADDING CUSTOM NAMES, LOGOS, LETTERS AND OTHER ADORNMENTS TO AN EXISTING PRODUCT.

WHAT DO CUSTOMIZABLE RENTALS COST?

PRICES WILL VARY BASED ON THE INTRICACIES OF THE CUSTOMIZATION PROCESS IN ADDITION TO THE ITEMS GENERAL RENTAL RATE.

WE HAVE A FEW OPTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO CREATING YOUR DREAM LOOK. WE CAN CREATE THE ULTIMATE CUSTOM PIECE FOR YOU TO KEEP, WE CAN MAKE A UNIQUE CUSTOM ITEM FOR YOU TO RENT, OR WE CAN BEAUTIFULLY PERSONALIZE AN EXISTING ITEM WITHIN OUR INVENTORY FOR YOUR EVENT.

CUSTOM PIECES ARE DESIGN CONCEPTS EXECUTED FOR OUR CLIENTS. EACH CONCEPT IS CONTRACTED PROJECTS WE SPECIFICALLY MAKE FOR OUR YOU TO KEEP.  

WHAT DO COMPLETE CUSTOM PIECES COST?

PRICES WILL VARY ON THE SCOPE. GENERAL PRICING IS BASED ON SHOP TIME, COST OF MATERIALS, AND ANY INSTALLATION THAT IS NEEDED. DELIVERY IS NOT INCLUDED. 

EXAMPLES: CUSTOM SIGNAGE, NAME/LOGO INSTALLMENTS, BRIDEMAIDS/GROOMSMEN GIFTS ETC.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR COMPLETE CUSTOM CREATIONS?

SHARE YOUR IDEAS, DRAFTS, SKETCHES OR PINTEREST BOARD. COMMUNICATE YOUR DREAMS AND WE WILL CONFIRM THE SCOPE OF PROJECT. ONCE THE PROPOSAL IS ACCEPTED, WE REQUIRE A NON-REFUNDABLE 50% DEPOSIT WHICH GOES TOWARDS INITIATING THE PROJECT AND GATHERING ASSOCIATED START-UP MATERIALS. IN ORDER TO GIVE THE PROJECT THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES, WE REQUIRE AT LEAST 30 DAYS OF PRODUCTION TIME, DEPENDENT ON THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT, ANY TIME LESS THAN THAT IS SUBJECT TO A RUSH FEE OF 25%.  EACH CUSTOM PROJECT IS PRICED BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:

PRODUCTION TIME ($75/HOUR) + COST OF MATERIALS + OUTSOURCING OF ANY SPECIALTY PROCESSES

CUSTOM INSTALLATION AND DELIVERY NOT INCLUDED IN THE QUOTE.
